The Sonar theme is a stylish, neat, and fully customizable WordPress? theme. Checked. Works OK. Except the notes mentioned by @john_wdl.

Additional info about the issues above

Space on all sides is not same, right side space is zero. See sonar1.gif

In style.css on line 1014 there is a selector .wp-caption img with parameter margin which causes this.

Image in gallery is either running out of content area or the background image needs to be changed. See sonar2.gif

Again style.css but line 1065 #content .attachment img parameter margin:0 auto;
