Using swift as text domain
I would like to remove my other theme from the repository.
All global variables must be prefixed

Functions in that are core functions with some slight modifications. Those strings are translated by WordPress?.

Partly. Depends of the purpose of the work. The photo is released under CC by-sa license. In ​GNU license list CC BY-SA is described as:

This is a copyleft free license that is good for artistic and entertainment works, and educational works. Please don't use it for software or documentation, since it is incompatible with the GNU GPL and with the GNU FDL.

Although I'm not sure if that particular photo is the original.

Speaking about the screenshot image I'm rather concerned about Apple logo on it than Steve Jobs' photo. The logo is copyrighted and as such it cannot present on a site like WP repository.
Consider changing the screenshot.
