TDC, THe 'sticky' posts displaying twice is because this is a specific theme that handles 2 loops, there are two loop areas, you didn't have it configured so the 'comic' posts showed stuff from the blog, hence the duplicate sticky's, normally it knows the difference between the categories when you have it configured.
