Issues from Previous Review

  • Fixed. References to "toolbox" found in functions.php, header.php, image.php and tag.php. While it is OK to base themes of existing themes you have to make sure ALL references to that theme are replaced with ones appropriate for the new theme.
  • Fixed. PHP debugging error: Error: WP_Query was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 3.1! "caller_get_posts" is deprecated. Use "ignore_sticky_posts" instead.

Theme Check

Theme Unit Test

  • Themes are required to provide end-user documentation of any design limitations or extraordinary installation/setup instructions such as:
    • No dropdown menu
    • Site title is not clickable
    • Long site title will cover header background
  • Layout Test, p. 3 = Table is not styled
  • Images Test, p. 2 = Captions under images are not differentiated from regular content text i.e., captions are not styled/highlighted differently from text which can cause confusion
  • Images Test, p. 4 = Elements after floats must be cleared. In this case div#post-link should clear after image which was aligned left.
  • Comments Test, p. 1 = Table in comments is not styled. List style discs show up in threaded comments.
  • Page: Clearing Floats = Elements after floats must be cleared.

Code Quality

  • header.php = No scripts or script file links are hard-coded into the document head. (These must be enqueued and hooked in appropriately.)
