Hi Theme Review Team,

thanks for reviewing Blog Pulse. A few notes that may save review time:

Scope

• This is a presentation-only block theme. It contains no shortcodes, no analytics or tracking, no A/B testing, no SEO or AI metadata, no custom REST endpoints, no custom update mechanism, no security-header logic and no plugin-style site functionality.
• Functionality is limited to templates, template parts, block patterns, block styles, theme.json design tokens and two small front-end scripts (theme toggle, copyright year).

Testing already performed by the author

• Theme Check 20260901: success, no errors or warnings. The only message is the informational note that the theme uses the single text domain "blog-pulse".
• PHP lint: all 11 PHP files pass php -l on PHP 8.2 (0 errors).
• axe-core 4.x with WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 A+AA: 0 violations on the front page, a single post, the page template, the audit template, the newsletter template, the archive, the search results and the 404 page (Chromium, 1280x900). No JavaScript console errors.
• Core Web Vitals on the same pages: LCP 204-520 ms, CLS 0.000 (local loopback measurement).
• theme.json validates against the WordPress schema v3 and loads as WP_Theme_JSON.
• POT template: 181 strings, msgfmt --check-format passes, no fuzzy entries.
• HTML templates: all 12 templates are complete and render with HTTP 200 (404 template: 404).

Licensing and assets

• Theme code and all bundled assets are original work, GPLv2 or later; license.txt is included.
• The theme does not load external fonts, CDNs, icon sets, images or tracking scripts. Avatars use the core WordPress avatar function.
• The screenshots are original captures of the bundled templates (1200x900, 4:3).

Accessibility

• Skip link to #primary, one H1 per view, semantic landmarks, visible focus states, reduced-motion support, AA contrast for body text, labeled form controls.
• Links in content are underlined. The theme does not use the accessibility-ready tag.

Newsletter form

• The newsletter landing template intentionally ships without a signup form. Form processing, consent storage and double opt-in belong to a newsletter plugin; the template provides the layout and a clearly marked place for that plugin's form.
